Bookshelf Tour: Part 1

Hey guys! It seems like a lot of people have been giving tours of their bookshelves lately, and I always enjoy seeing the vlogs/pictures….so I decided it was my turn! I have a pretty considerable amount of books in storage tubs in my parents’ garage, so I’m just showing you the books currently on the shelves in my apartment. I’ll separate the tour into several weeks, here is the first part!

First, a zoomed out view of the entire bookcase.
On top is the Vampire Academy series, they get a prime spot. Then, the first shelf are just a few of my mass market paperbacks – mainly fantasy – like the Kushiel, Parasol Protectorate, and Mercy Thompson series. There are also a few classics. (My high organizational standards at work.) I originally had this shelf double stacked, but I stopped doing so I could keep the books I plan to read ASAP there in front.
The first half of the shelf are two of my favorite historical series: The Lady Emily series by Tasha Alexander and the Pink Carnation series by Lauren Willig. Books are missing from both those series right now because I loaned them to my mama. Next is a copy of Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers (a book I absolutely adore!) and then several of my favorite young adult hardbacks.
Here we have fantasy. Mostly hardbacks here because they look the best (you see this bookshelf when you first walk into my apartment so I wanted it to be at least somewhat aesthetically pleasing), and then the Study series by Maria V. Snyder because I love them.
A lot of my bulky hardbacks here, since it is the tallest shelf I have. Then a stack of classics, so people can see them and be impressed (ha).
…………………………………….
So, there is your first look at the books I keep in my apartment. The next addition coming soon!

Nice! I love bookshelf tours, but all my books are in storage except the ones I've recently obtained, or plan to read soon. I have absolutely no room for them, so they are all in storage, and it hurts me a little inside every time I see someone else's bookshelf tours!

I love this tour! I like how neat everything is. I'm also glad to see that someone else gets finished copies of books they've loved and that I'm not just weird like that.
