Character Q&A: The Predicteds by Christine Seifert

So, today I have Christine Seifert, author of The Predicteds visiting the blog. It will be released tomorrow, and you can check back later this month to see my review!

For now, here is the summary:

Daphne is the new girl in town and is having trouble fitting in. At least she has Jesse… sort of. He wants to be more than “just friends,” but there’s something he’s not telling her about his past. Something dangerous. When a female student is brutally attacked, police turn to PROFILE, a new program that can predict a student’s capacity for drug use, pregnancy, and violent behavior, to solve the case. As the witch hunt ensues, Daphne is forced to question her feelings for Jesse-and what she will do if her first love turns out to be a killer.

The following is a character interview with the male MC, Jesse. Enjoy!

1. Spring or Fall

Jesse is kind of melancholy sometimes. So definitely fall. I see him raking leaves and thinking deep thoughts.

2. Mornings or Evenings
Both. Jesse is ambitious and motivated. He gets up early and stays up late. He’s one of those rare people who always has energy.

3. Car or Bike.
Car. Jesse has some pretty cool wheels. And he lives in Oklahoma where your car says a lot about you.

4. Dogs: big or small?
Big. Jesse would have a golden retriever or a black lab or something. He doesn’t currently have a dog, but maybe he needs to get one.

5. Meat or Veggies
Veggies. Meat would be the obvious choice in a town built on ranching and oil, but Jesse is going to be the opposite of what you’d expect.

6. Shoes or Sandals
Shoes! I can’t see Jesse wearing sandals. That would interfere with playing tennis. He’s too active for sandals.

7. Chairs or Couches
Chairs. He doesn’t have time for lounging on the couch.

8. Enchiladas or Tacos
Probably tacos. You can eat those on the go. And I bet Jesse eats a lot. He’s a growing boy!

9. Mayo or Mustard
Either. Jesse isn’t a picky eater.

10. Traveling: Europe or Asia?
Asia. And he’d backpack in some remote area.

11. Lemonade or Tea
Lemonade. Jesse’s an athlete; tea can’t quench his thirst.

12. Book Endings: HEA or bittersweet?
HEA. At the end of the day, Jesse can be kind of sappy. He just covers it well. I bet he likes romantic comedies.

13. Cell Phone: with internet or without?
Without. Jesse is old-school. Facebooking and Tweeting take too much time and reveal too much. Not his style.

14. Colors: bold or neutral?
Bold. Jesse is pretty sure of himself. No blending into the wallpaper for him.

15. Dress Up or Throw on a T-Shirt
Dress up. Jesse’s signature accessory is a skinny tie. It’s partially ironic and partially a fashion choice. Jesse is not your typical teen guy.

So what about all of you? Strong, mysterious, silent types? Or outgoing, charismatic, what-you-see-is-what-you-get types?

Nice interview! Gosh, Can I have a mix? I would like strong and mysterious, but willing and able to talk and have fun. I’m in Oklahoma…I didn’t know our cars said a lot about us? 😉
