I’d Tell You I Love You, But Then I’d Have to Kill You by Ally Carter

I’d Tell You I Love You, But Then I’d Have to Kill You by Ally Carter was so much fun, you guys! The characters, plot and setting all work together in this fantastic way that makes this hilarious yet almost believable yet almost ridiculous story that is basically impossible to resist.

Okay, so the following quote is actually from the fourth book of the series, but I still love it. It definitely fits the Gallagher Girls to a tee:

. . . in the clandestine services, nothing ever happens quickly (except when it does). Nothing is ever, ever easy (except when it is). And, most of all, nothing ever goes perfectly according to plan (except in the movies).

Seriously, these girls are really something else.

So, Cammie Morgan is a sophomore at the Gallagher Academy. It obviously isn’t your regular school – it is an all girls spy training facility. How awesome is that? From learning CIA computer techniques to how to kill people using only a pinkie finger – these girls kick some serious ass.

Then, Cammie does something unexpected. She ends up meeting a boy at the nearby town and she falls hard fast. Relationships (especially when you have to hide who you really are) is definitely one area she has received 0 training in. She can follow him through town unnoticed, go through his trash and hack into his email – but is that really the basis of a good relationship?

You guys, I don’t know how to explain how fun this series is. Seriously. These girls are just as hilarious as they are bad ass. I definitely recommend reading I’d Tell You I Love You, But Then I’d Have to Kill You at the earliest possible opportunity! I can’t wait for the fifth installment to be released in a couple of weeks.

I HAD NO IDEA WHAT THE GALLAGHER GIRLS WAS. I should’ve known Ally Carter would be writing something as cool as CIA girls undercover or something. I’m seriously considering starting the series, for the fun factor and the supacool CIA aspect.

I always feel a smidgen of guilt whenever someone brings up the GG books because for the longest time, I dismissed them as nothing but fluff. Then last year, I read this book and immediately felt horrible because it was SO. FREAKING. GOOD. I really enjoyed reading your review, and look forward to future installments featuring Cammie!
